About TRT New York
New York already has exceptional hospitals and no shortage of physicians. What it lacked was a clinic built specifically around the hormone health of the professionals who keep this city running — without the referral maze, the months-long wait, or the one-size-fits-all protocol.
Leading Hormone Medicine in New York City
When you spend your career in Manhattan, you develop a fast filter for what's genuinely exceptional and what's merely adequate. We built TRT New York with that filter applied to every decision — our physicians' training, our diagnostic depth, our standards for compounding pharmacies. The question we asked at every step: is this what a New York patient who understands excellent care would accept?
Our New York Medical Team
Dr. James Harrington, MD
Dr. Harrington spent his formative years in training at NewYork-Presbyterian before going deep on endocrinology and hormone optimization at NYU Langone. Fourteen years later, he has treated more than 2,500 patients with testosterone deficiency, thyroid disorders, and complex hormonal imbalances — the majority of them professionals who came in after a primary care physician had dismissed their symptoms as normal aging. He doesn't accept that explanation until the labs prove it.
Danielle Reyes, NP-C
Danielle trained at Weill Cornell and quickly found her niche at the intersection of performance medicine and hormone health. After a decade working with high-achieving professionals across New York City, she has seen firsthand how much ground is lost when hormone issues are treated generically — and how much can be recovered with protocols that actually account for the individual. She specializes in the kind of nuanced adjustments that separate genuine optimization from a standard prescription and a six-month follow-up.
New York Community Involvement
Our physicians give back to the community beyond the clinic.
American Heart Association
New York City Chapter — cardiovascular health advocacy and community education events throughout the five boroughs.
TCS New York City Marathon
Medical Volunteer Team — providing on-course medical support for the 50,000-plus runners who compete through all five boroughs each November.
Columbia University Irving Medical Center
Guest Lecturing Faculty — presenting on hormone optimization and men's health to residents and medical students in the CUIMC continuing education program.
Our Mission
The thing about New York is that it reveals your deficits. The city's pace doesn't forgive you for running at 70% — and low testosterone, hormonal imbalance, or chronic nutrient depletion will pull you toward 70% no matter how hard you push against it. Our mission is to get in ahead of that: to understand your biology at a granular level and intervene before hormonal decline quietly becomes your new ceiling.
We use comprehensive lab data, not guesswork, and we treat the whole patient — not a number on a report. Every protocol is evidence-based, individually dosed, and monitored through ongoing labs that give you objective confirmation of how you're responding and where adjustments need to be made.
Patient-Centered Care
Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique biology, goals, and lifestyle
Evidence-Based Medicine
Every protocol is grounded in current clinical research and peer-reviewed data
Our Comprehensive Approach
Most clinics treat the lab value. We treat the person behind it — recognizing that a surgeon working 80-hour weeks has different optimization requirements than a 45-year-old financial analyst training for their fourth marathon. Our process is thorough because the demands of this city are thorough.
Comprehensive Assessment
We begin with a detailed health history, physical examination, and an extensive laboratory panel to map your unique hormonal profile, metabolic markers, and health status.
Personalized Treatment Plan
Based on your labs and lifestyle, we design a customized protocol that may include hormone therapy, vitamin optimization, peptide regimens, and targeted lifestyle recommendations.
Ongoing Monitoring
Regular follow-up visits and lab panels ensure your protocol is continuously optimized for safety, efficacy, and long-term results as your body responds to treatment.
Why Choose TRT New York?
There are dozens of clinics in this city. The ones that earn lasting trust in New York do it through expertise that's visibly deep, results that are objectively measurable, and service that respects your intelligence and your time.
